Laurie founded New Leaf Financial Advisory after 25 years in institutional finance.
Laurie developed a wide range of skills through her long career in the financial services industry but realized she was missing a more personal connection to her work. Looking for a greater sense of purpose, she transitioned into personal financial planning and focused her efforts on helping individuals going through the process of divorce.
Laurie’s approach to a providing supportive environment coupled with her expertise has helped her clients gain the clarity they need to make complex financial decisions during emotionally difficult life transitions. Laurie’s clients especially value her ability to help them take control of their finances and manage their money in a way that complements their life goals.
Laurie has broad technical knowledge in finance, including underwriting, asset valuation, risk management, real estate and deal structure.

Hilary is now investing this knowledge to help women understand their finances better, enable them to make informed choices and confidently be in control of their financial future. In keeping with the mission of the company she aims to educate, empower and encourage women to embrace their financial future with a personalized service for each specific case.
Hilary holds an MBA and a BS in Finance. She is a CDFA® (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®) and a Member of the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts. Hilary also holds a Series 65 FINRA securities license.
Hilary is a member of the Board of Directors of My Sisters Place, an agency located in Westchester County dedicated to ending domestic violence and human trafficking through services, advocacy and community education. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the LPGA Foundation which runs female friendly initiatives to empower, inspire and transform the lives of girls and women through the game of golf. Hilary is Past President of the Board of Directors of the former Executive Women’s Golf Association, now LPGA Amateurs, a nationwide amateur golfing organization of 12,000 women organized at 110 local chapters.
Patti Moores is experienced attorney and long time advocate of women’s issues. She has joined New Leaf Financial Advisory as it expands to Westchester County and the New York Metropolitan area. Patti is an attorney admitted in New York and New Jersey, and a graduate of Boston College and St. John's University School of Law. She holds a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, CDFA® designation. She also holds a Series 65 FINRA securities license.
She brings decades of experience in litigation and mediation. She is dedicated to advancing the knowledge and competence of women to make informed financial decisions as they navigate various transitions in their lives.
She is is member of the Board of Directors of My Sisters Place, an agency in Westchester County dedicated to ending domestic violence and human trafficking through services, advocacy and community education. Patti also sits on the Board of POTS (Part of the Solution), a program located in the Bronx dedicated to addressing poverty in an atmosphere of respect and compassion. She is also Past President of the International Aviation Womens Association, a worldwide organization for women holding senior positions in the aviation and aerospace industry.
